Question:
After some adventurous overclocking my motherboard does not boot up any more. |
Answer:
Biostar's WatchDog technology (available on select motherboards) is designed to protect your motherboard from excessive overclocking and tweaking. When the settings in BIOS push the board to a dangerous level, WatchDog shuts down the motherboard automatically.
To regain use of your board, unplug the power cord and wait for 5 seconds. Plug the power cord back in, press and hold the INSERT key while turning on the power. This way all CMOS settings will be restored to factory default and you won't have to open up the case and manipulate the JCMOS jumper.
