Can I use Samsung SM951 SSD on GAMING Z170X motherboard?

Please update to latest BIOS Z17AF916.BST BIOS.

This BIOS will support Samsung SM951 SSD automatically.

Will my FM2+ board supports AMD Godavari CPU?

After update latest BIOS and latest chipset driver from our download section, FM2+ motherboard will be able to support AMD Godavari CPU.

System will still be able to boot up properly with BIOS on-board.

So you can install the CPU first, then update BIOS and driver later.

My system does not boot after BIOS update, what can I do?

There always a chance that BIOS might fail after update.

If your system is running fine, then there is no need to update BIOS.

However, if system does not boot after BIOS update, please refer this information.

If there is no help after BIOS recovery, then you might need to contact local shop or local dealer help you to re-program the BIOS EPROM.

Why my H81MLV3 motherboard cannot detect SSD hard drive?

Some of the SSD hard drive might produced few years ago. So the firmware on the SSD hard drive might not support newer motherboard chipset. Please contact SSD hard driver's manufacture website to update the latest firmware. It could help for resolve the detection problem.

Should I update my motherboard's BIOS to latest version?

If your motherboard is running okay with current BIOS verison, we do not recommand to update the BIOS.

Because there is a chance that update BIOS can cause BIOS data corrupt and system might not boot up properly.

If you do find compatible problem or need to support latest CPU on the market.

Update BIOS might be needed and please follow BIOS download page's pdf file or FAQ here for proper BIOS update procedure.

Why my A58ML motherboard unable to boot up when use A4-4000 CPU?

Please update to latest version BIOS from our website for support AMD A4-4000 CPU.

Why my A68N-2100 system will not boot up properly when use ASM 1061 SATA controller?

Please update the firmware for the SATA controller to version 3.7.

Will H61MGV3 support Intel Celeron G1610 CPU?

Yes, H61MGV3 will support Intel Celeron G1610 CPU.

When attempting to run the bios update utility, my pc constantly blue screens with this code apc_index_mismatch on TA970 motherboard. Is there any help for it?

According to the error message, your system might have wrong BIOS setting to cause system running unstable.

To resolve it, try to press "Delete" key to go to CMOS then load the optimized default setting and Save and exit BIOS.

After reboot, your system should work properly after this setting.

If system still running unstable, try to lower the memory setting or flash back the previus BIOS version you have.

Why my NM70I-1037U system has problem to run with Ubuntu 12.04 OS?

There are some issues between Ubuntu 12.04 system with Intel NM70 chipset.

Please make sure to update to latest Kernal core or add the patch for on-board graphic.

Try to add "i915.i915_enable_rc6=0" to /etc/default/grub "GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT". Should look something like this then:

And reboot.
